Consciousness of Dance

After two sold out concerts in January 2024, the first production of àktapha, Consciouscness of Dance is presented for one more time on the 24th of February 2024. 

Consciousness of Dance is blending together written and improvised music into a single musical experience. The sonic universes of two composers, Fani Kosona and Iason Maroulis, merge together, interact and communicate with each other through sections collectively created by the ensemble. Atomocentrism is tested and eventually overcomed by the emergence of a new collective work, Consciouscness of Dance, that develops, comments on and contextualizes the units that constitute it.
